The All Stars programme was initially set up to involve children from primary four to primary seven to partake in three sporting activities over a period of six weeks.
During this time, children from different primary schools and community groups across Belfast come together to participate in the scheme and have the opportunity to play new sports. The All Stars main aim is to encourage children to continue on with sport as they go through life. We are putting the message across that sport is inclusive, enjoyable and there is a sport for everyone!
Our most recent All Stars Programme finished this month with a celebration event in Ballysillan Leisure Centre. The schools involved was as follows- Bunscoil Mhic Reachtain, Cavehill, Our Ladies, Holycross Girls, Mercy, Ballysillan and Wheatfield. The children and coaches used this time to come together and showcase their newly learnt skills within a fun and friendly environment. Overall it was a successful programme and the children enjoyed mixing with other schools while enjoying the sports. See some of the pictures below.
